-
- Your A3000 has a built in flickerfixer port on it. As long as you use this
- (and have it turned on), your NTSC and PAL displays will be promoted to be
- VGA compatable. Your A3000 has ECS chips in it, so you can install the
- Multiscan driver to get Producivity mode (640x480), but this mode can only
- handle 4 out of 64 colors.
-

-
- I'm not sure, but I think there are two versions of the IV-24 board, a NTSC
- and PAL model. I believe that the IV-24 has genlocking abilities, and
- therefore will only let you display either NTSC or PAL, not both.
-
- >Also, what are there DblNTSC/DblPAL monitor drivers I've heard about?
- >For AGA machines or what?
-
- These drivers will work on ECS systems as well, but they are limited to 4
- colors out of a palette of 64 colors.
-
- >Thanks for any help...
-
- If I'm right about the IV-24 genlock, you will be limited to the display modes
- of the model IV-24 you have (PAL or NTSC). Installing the other monitor
- drivers will not work, unless you remove (or can disable) the card.
